About The SW Petty Officer Leadership Academy
Where Survival is a State of Mind. Petty Officer Leadership Academy, Southwest Region. This is not just another Sea Cadet training. This is an experience in which students, cadet staff, and adult staff alike develop the skills and work habits to respond resiliently through trial, error, and failure to become more effective leaders. You will be challenged physically, mentally, emotionally, and situationally.
In addition to learning the leadership skills of an effective Petty Officer, Chief, and Officer in the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, you will face real-life scenarios. You will learn to adapt to new and challenging situations and conquer your fears. You will attain knowledge in areas including, but not limited to, Mindset, Interpersonal Communication, Counseling, Health and Wellness and Stress Management.
You will be taught the skills to develop a more positive mindset, given the tools to develop greater emotional intelligence, you will gain situational awareness and achieve greater self-confidence. Are you up to the challenge?
